How to write hooks for TikTok and Reels with AI

Prompts for writing scroll-stopping hooks, 30-second scripts and a repeatable series format.

Short videos are decided in the first two seconds. Write ten hooks for every video and pick the best one.

1. Hook bank

Write 15 hooks for a video about [idea], under 10 words, mixing curiosity, contrarian, result-first and mistake angles.

Read them aloud; the one that sounds natural usually wins.

2. Script

Write a 30-second script on [idea]: hook, setup, 3 beats, payoff, soft call to action, with on-screen text per beat.

Keep beats under eight seconds each.

3. A series

Suggest 8 repeatable series formats for a [niche] account, each with 3 episode ideas.

Series make posting easier and give viewers a reason to follow.

Keep it honest
