How to write an SEO blog post with AI that's actually worth ranking
A brief-first workflow: analyse search intent, outline better than the competition, and add your own experience.
AI can draft a generic article in seconds, and that's the problem. The posts that rank and convert add experience only you have. Use AI for structure; bring the substance yourself.
1. Intent first
For the query '[keyword]', describe what the searcher wants, which format suits it, and what a page must include.
If the intent is a comparison, a how-to won't rank.
2. Brief
Create a content brief for '[keyword]': reader, angle, outline, questions to answer, examples I should add from my experience, internal links.
The brief is the most valuable output.
3. Experience injection
Here's my draft [paste]. Mark spots where a personal example, data point or photo would make it more credible, and ask me questions to fill them.
This turns a generic draft into yours.
4. Title and meta
Write 5 SEO titles under 60 characters and meta descriptions under 155 for [keyword].
Pick one that matches the intent and makes a specific promise.
Keep it honest
Fact-check everything and never publish a draft you haven't edited yourself.
